GSM & GSM_DCS
All GSM files that call for Rician fading as part of the channel model now have two new possible file selections as outlined below. These files incorporate two different methods for setting the ratio of the Line of Site (LOS) power to the multipath (MP) fading power.
· K_0
The "K_0" files set the ratio K=0 for the LOS to MP power of path 1 only. This is the method originally used in the 4500.
LOS1 = MP1
· K_68 and K_82
The "K_62" (6 paths models) and "K_82" (4 paths models) set the K factor on path1 such that the direct LOS power on path1 is equal to the total fading power of all active paths in the channel. This is a new interpretation of the GSM files introduced with V5.20.
LOS1 = MP1+MP2+MP3+MP4+MP5+MP6 if there are 6 active paths
